The Marqués Tour Step by Step

Turistik's route from a Santiago meeting point to the tasting room and back, in about 5 hours.

  1. Board at a meeting point

There is no hotel pickup. When you book, you choose Monjitas 879 near Plaza de Armas, Av. Vitacura 2653 in Las Condes, or the Turistik shelter at Parque Arauco, and arrive 15 minutes early. The shared bus carries up to 28 people and brings you back to the same points afterwards.

  2. The park and Casa Don Melchor

The guided walk starts in the century-old park, under old trees with the façade of Casa Don Melchor in view. The house is seen from outside only. From here the guide moves the group indoors for the Casillero del Diablo Sensory Experience, which comes before the cellar itself.

  3. Cellars, lookout and vines

In the old underground cellar you hear the devil legend behind the Casillero del Diablo name. Then come the Guarda del Alto cellar, the lookout facing the Pirque vineyards, and the Garden of Varieties, which the listing says holds 24 grape varieties. This route is the same as on the cheaper ticket.

  4. The private tasting room

The upgrade is the finish. You sit down to six super-premium Marqués de Casa Concha wines and four premium wines, ten in total, with a cheese board. A Concha y Toro glass is yours to keep. The ticket is sold to adults aged 18 and over only, and lunch is not included.

CONCHA Y TORO GUIDE

Which Concha y Toro Tour to Book

Cheapest visit, fullest tasting, two-winery days, the night tour and going on your own.

The Concha y Toro tour to book is Turistik’s Marqués de Casa Concha Tasting at Concha y Toro on Viator. It starts from $135 per person, takes about 5 hours from a central Santiago meeting point, and ends with ten wines and cheese in a private room. With 4.9 from 1,223 reviews on Viator, it is the most-reviewed Concha y Toro tour on this site (prices checked October 2026). Turistik sells the same trip on GetYourGuide as the Marqués de Casa Concha Tasting Tour, also from $135, with 4.7 from 92 GetYourGuide reviews. At the same from-price, the Viator listing carries far more reviews.

Not everyone needs ten wines. Below, the options are grouped by what you are after: the cheapest visit, the fullest tasting, a two-winery day, a half day, and an evening at the estate.

The estate in brief

Melchor Concha y Toro, a lawyer and politician, founded the winery in Pirque in 1883 and planted vines brought from Bordeaux. The visitor centre, on Virginia Subercaseaux in Pirque, has a 22-hectare centennial park, Casa Don Melchor and the Casillero del Diablo cellar. The cellar’s legend is the hook of every tour: the founder’s best wines kept disappearing, so he spread a rumour that the Devil lived down there. Marqués de Casa Concha, the label poured on the premium tastings, launched in 1976 with a 1972 Puente Alto Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cheapest and easiest visit

The lowest from-price among the Concha y Toro-only tours here belongs to Ruta Chile’s Concha y Toro Vineyard Tour with Transfer and Tasting on GetYourGuide, from $82 per person. A van collects you at your hotel, drives about an hour each way, and leaves you roughly two hours at the winery with Concha y Toro’s own guides and three wines. It holds 4.3 from 557 GetYourGuide reviews; one reviewer summed it up as transport and tickets, with the winery staff doing the guiding.

The easiest option is Turistik’s Concha y Toro Premium Wine Center Tour, from $105 per person with 4.8 from 934 reviews on Viator. It follows the same estate route as the Marqués ticket and finishes with four premium wines. You catch the bus at Plaza de Armas, Las Condes or Parque Arauco, since there is no hotel pickup. Under-18s may ride along, though their ticket covers the transfer only, while the Marqués ticket and Ruta Chile’s trip are for adults only.

The fullest tasting

Three tours pour Marqués de Casa Concha wines, and they differ in more than price.

  • Turistik on Viator, from $135: six super-premium Marqués wines and four premium wines, ten in all, with cheese in a private room. Adults only.
  • Turistik on GetYourGuide, from $135: the same trip sold under a different listing, with a smaller review base.
  • Ruta Chile’s premium option on GetYourGuide: four Marqués de Casa Concha varieties with cheeses on top of the standard three tastings, plus hotel pickup. The $82 headline is the standard rate, so check the premium price on the booking page.

If you want the most wine for the money and do not mind a meeting point, Turistik’s Viator listing is the clear pick. If hotel pickup matters more, price Ruta Chile’s premium option on your date. Either way, our breakdown of the Marqués tour covers the route in full.

Two wineries in one day

Ruta Chile’s Concha y Toro and Undurraga Tour, or Undurraga Only sells two different products under one title. The Concha y Toro and Undurraga option runs 9 to 10 hours from a hotel pickup at about 08:00: Concha y Toro in Pirque first, a lunch break of about 90 minutes that you pay for, then a 75-minute visit to Undurraga with three reserve wines. The Undurraga Only option, about 4 hours, never goes to Concha y Toro, and several reviewers booked it by mistake. Check the option name before you pay.

Two more cautions. The listing’s from-price of $76 per person is not tied to either option, so select the two-winery option and your date to see the real figure. And its rating, 4.0 from 201 GetYourGuide reviews, is the lowest of the Concha y Toro tours here, and the title mix-up is a recurring theme in its reviews. Children under 12 cannot join. More on the second estate is on our Undurraga winery tours page.

For Concha y Toro and Undurraga with no ambiguity and lunch in the price, the Private Maipo Valley Tour: Concha y Toro, Santa Rita and Undurraga visits three historic houses with a wine-specialist guide and an à la carte lunch at Santa Rita. It is priced per person by group size: $986 for one, $636 each for two, falling to $434 each for eight. It holds 5.0 from 31 reviews on Viator. Our best private wine tours page compares it with cheaper private days.

If you only have half a day

Every single-winery Concha y Toro tour above is a half day: about 4 hours with Ruta Chile, about 5 with Turistik. None includes lunch. The Turistik walk ends at Plaza Concha y Toro, where there are places to eat and a wine shop. If you are weighing Concha y Toro against Undurraga or Cousiño Macul, our half-day wine tours page compares them.

Concha y Toro after dark

Turistik also runs the Concha y Toro Night Tour and Dinner Show, from $207 per person. A costumed character leads the group through the gardens and the Casillero del Diablo cellar, with a welcome sparkling wine and three wines, followed by a three-course dinner with two more glasses at the Wine Bar. It is guided in Spanish only and leaves from Parque Arauco or Monjitas 879, with no hotel pickup. It holds 4.8 from 239 reviews on Viator, while the GetYourGuide version has 4.1 from just 8 reviews.

Visiting without a tour

Concha y Toro sells its own visits at enoturismo.conchaytoro.com, including a premium guided visit sold with Marqués de Casa Concha, Cellar Collection or Concha y Toro tastings, a Diablo Wine Sunset and a night experience with dinner. The address is Virginia Subercaseaux 210, Pirque. Chile’s zero-tolerance law treats 0.3 g/L of blood alcohol as driving under the influence, so if you plan to taste, a tour or a taxi is the sensible way back.

Where to go next

Concha y Toro is one estate among many. Compare it with the multi-stop days on our Maipo Valley wine tours page and 4-winery tours page, see which days feed you on our wine tours with lunch page, or use the guide to which wine tour from Santiago is right for you. Concha y Toro Tour Reviews

Ratings and review counts are each platform's live figures (Viator or GetYourGuide) as of October 2026 and may shift slightly day to day.

"This was an excellent half day tour near Santiago. The tour is really sharing facts to the Concha y Toro where, then, their staff takes over. However, I didn’t have to worry about logistics as I showed up and learned more about the history of the vineyards. Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed the wine. Highly recommend!"

Keegan S

"We had a great time on our morning tour April 6th. The transfer was comfortable, the guides were excellent, and the winery is beautiful! And delicious wine. Great tour and half day in the wine lands"

Gamecocklabtech11

"Very nice tour to a wonderful winery. The gardens are beautiful and the tasting was as good as expected."

Greg O

"Our bus driver, Mario was excellent in handling rush hour traffic. Sona provided background information on wines during the trip to the winery. The tour guide at the winery was very knowledgeable without going overboard. It was a great way to spend an afternoon tasting wines and learning which cheese to pair with what wines."

Christine A

"Gonzalo our tour guide within Concha y Toro was very fun, entertaining and with a lot of knowledge. I learned a lot with him and Rosanna our sommelier. Congratulations to the story about the name Casillero del Diablo"

A S

"Tour was OK but one needs to select the Premium Tour if you want a good experience. We did not realize that we had to meet at a different location. This cost more money which means that you need to add this to your total cost. The Premium Tour would have been better BUT we were rushed to return to the bus. Not good!!!!!"

Mary K

"Driver wasted 45 minutes doing nothing at first stop, then wasted another 45 minutes doing nothing at second stop. Then they raced to winery arriving 1 hour or more late. We lost at least half of the tour, and the 7 wines we tasted were rushed. A lousy way to visit the largest and best known winery in Chile."

Karen H

"The cheese and wine pairing at the end was amazing. And really the people you meet on these group excursions"
