Casablanca Valley 4 Vineyards: Emiliana, Bodegas RE, Viñamar & Tanino

4.9 (144 verified reviews)

About This Experience

Three tastings and one lunch stop make up this Casablanca Valley circuit. At Emiliana Organic Vineyards, Bodegas RE and Casa Valle Viñamar, admission and a tasting are included, and staff at each winery explain how they make their wines before pouring. The fourth estate, Casas del Bosque, is where you sit down for lunch at Tanino restaurant.

Lunch is not in the price. Tanino serves an a la carte menu and each guest orders and settles their own bill, so bring a card or cash for that and for tips. Guest reviews mention feeding the alpacas at Emiliana and sparkling wine at Viñamar.

Your driver collects you from your accommodation, and the air-conditioned vehicle brings you back at the end. The listed 9 hours includes transfers, free time, the visits and lunch. It is a shared tour that the operator calls small-group; guides speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, and with a mixed group the commentary may switch between languages, since a single-language day cannot be promised.

Set against the Go2Chile four-winery day, which visits Casa del Molle instead of Viñamar and caps groups at 15, this one adds Portuguese and is listed at 9 hours rather than 10. If you want a vehicle to yourselves, the private tour covering Emiliana, William Cole and Casa del Bosque is the alternative. This tour is rated 4.9 from 144 Viator reviews, from $149 per person.

Chile's legal drinking age is 18. The listing calls the tour wheelchair accessible, open to all fitness levels and free of health restrictions. Service animals are welcome, and infants can use a pram or stroller, though in the vehicle they ride on an adult's lap.

What Travelers Say

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Our tour guide was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The wineries were each different but outstanding. We had plenty of time at each. (Make sure to feed the alpacas at Emiliano.) The final stop for lunch was fantastic as well! (After tastings at 3 wineries you might opt for trying a pisco sour with lunch.)
