Casas del Bosque Winery Tour with Tasting and Tanino Lunch

About This Experience
This tour spends all its time at a single estate, Casas del Bosque in the Casablanca Valley. The visit opens with a guided walk of about 1.5 hours through the garden, vineyard and wine cellar. A sommelier guide then pours four of the estate's wines and explains how to taste them properly.
The second half is a sit-down meal at Tanino, the restaurant on the estate. Three courses are served over roughly 1.5 hours, each paired with wine, making two more glasses on top of the tasting, so six wines in all. Lunch is part of the price. The itinerary calls this stop dinner, but the description and inclusions both describe it as lunch.
You are collected from your accommodation in Las Condes, Providencia, Ñuñoa or central Santiago and dropped back in the same areas. The listing gives no total length: the time at the winery adds up to about three hours, plus the road to Casablanca and back. Guiding is in Spanish and English, and the operator asks for a WhatsApp number on the booking to arrange pickup.
Compared with a multi-winery Casablanca day, this trades variety for one unhurried visit and a proper meal. One reviewer noted that the winery and restaurant staff lead most of the experience while the operator handles transport. It is for adults only, so bring ID. Prices start at $130 per person, and the tour has a 4.5 rating from 17 GetYourGuide reviews.

What Travelers Say
Rated 4.5/5 by 17 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
The visit to the Casas del Bosque winery was nice. The place is beautiful, well organized, and the wine is really good. The tour is interesting, but I thought it could be a bit more detailed in some parts. The restaurant is charming, but the prices are a bit high. Overall, it was worth the experience and is a good tour for those who like wine, but it wasn't the most memorable part of the trip.

the people who showed us how the vineyard works, very interesting.

The tour focuses mainly on the dining experience at Tanino and the visit to the wineries, including wine tasting. Practically the entire experience is attended by the restaurant and vineyard staff. I can say that the food is excellent, very tasty and well served, and the tour and wine tasting are very good. The experience can be enriched by asking questions about the process and the wine. As for the tour operator, they only offer transportation and do not contribute anything to the visit. What caught my attention is that I participated in the wine tasting and had a drink. I understood that there was zero tolerance for alcohol while driving. I don't know if this was because one person who had confirmed was unable to attend the tour at the last minute and the operator (driver) took the liberty of having the meal and participating in the tour.
