Maipo Valley Wine Tour: 4 Wineries, Pisco Tasting and Optional Lunch

About This Experience
Of the shared Maipo Valley days, this is the one that packs in the most stops. Over roughly 10 hours you taste at four wineries and get the full guided walk-through at two. Stamp's Tour starts collecting guests at 7:30 am from hotels and Airbnbs in certain parts of Santiago, the drive south takes around 40 minutes, and you are home again between about 6:00 and 6:30 pm.
La Quirinca opens the day. It is a small family farm: you wander its gardens and work areas, say hello to the alpacas, llamas and chickens, then move indoors to taste its wine and Chilean pisco, with farm products for sale. Two very different houses fill the middle hours: Santa Ema, an Italian-Chilean producer of still and sparkling wine dating from 1956, and TerraMater, whose Zinfandel restaurant is the lunch stop at around 12:30 pm and whose shop sells its own olive oil.
What happens last depends on the option. Book the Premium Route and you finish with Undurraga's complete tour, pitched at history-minded visitors, which tastes four premium wines and takes in the grounds, vines, barrel cellar and a display of pre-Columbian pieces. Both Traditional options wind down instead at Viña Ballek, a relaxed riverside tasting set among its vines.
Lunch is the detail to settle before booking. Only Traditional + Lunch Included puts the winery restaurant meal in the price. On the Traditional route and Premium Route you pay at the restaurant or bring food to eat in the van, and the Private Tour, which repeats the day with private transport, also leaves lunch to you.
Shared departures run with a minimum of four passengers. If that is not met the operator may cancel after confirmation and offer another date or a full refund, and the winery order can change on the day.
