Marqués de Casa Concha Tasting at Concha y Toro from Santiago

4.9 (1,223 verified reviews)

About This Experience

If you want one winery and the bigger pour, this is the upper tier of Turistik's Concha y Toro trips. You board a shared bus at Plaza de Armas, Av. Vitacura in Las Condes or Parque Arauco, ride out to the Pirque side of the Maipo Valley, and are back about 5 hours after leaving, with roughly 3 of those hours spent on the estate.

The walking route matches the one on the cheaper ticket. It starts in the century-old park, passes the exterior of Casa Don Melchor, then moves indoors for the Casillero del Diablo Sensory Experience and the underground cellar where the brand's devil legend is told. Then come the Guarda del Alto cellar, a stop at the lookout facing Pirque, and finally the Garden of Varieties, planted, by the listing's count, with 24 kinds of grape.

The extra money goes on the finish. You sit down in a private room to six super-premium Marqués de Casa Concha wines and four premium ones, ten pours in total, with cheese to go with them. A Concha y Toro glass comes home with you as a gift.

Against a full-day route that strings together two or three wineries, this leaves half your day free and puts the effort into one estate's better-known labels. It is for adults only (18 and over), there is no lunch, and the older buildings are not fully accessible. It holds 4.9 from 1,223 Viator reviews.

What Travelers Say

This was an excellent half day tour near Santiago. The tour is really sharing facts to the Concha y Toro where, then, their staff takes over. However, I didn’t have to worry about logistics as I showed up and learned more about the history of the vineyards. Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed the wine. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our morning tour April 6th. The transfer was comfortable, the guides were excellent, and the winery is beautiful! And delicious wine. Great tour and half day in the wine lands
